David J. Miklowitz et al.

Summary: The study suggests that family, cognitive behavioral, and psychoeducational therapies are associated with reduced episode recurrence and stabilization of residual symptoms in individuals with bipolar disorder. The findings highlight the importance of skills-based psychosocial interventions combined with pharmacotherapy for patients with bipolar disorder.
