Summary: Transgenic walnuts expressing the BADH gene showed enhanced tolerance to salt and drought stress conditions compared to their wild-type counterparts. The integration of the BADH transgene was successfully confirmed through PCR and Southern blot analysis. This research demonstrates the potential of utilizing transgenic walnut plants for breeding programs aimed at improving resistance to salinity and drought.
