Sensing platform for pico-molar level detection of ethyl parathion using Au-Ag nanoclusters based enzymatic strategy

Deepika Sharma et al.

Summary: This work presents a simple, cost-effective, and highly sensitive method for detecting ethyl parathion using bimetallic BSA@AuAg nanoclusters. The synthesized biosensor is capable of detecting ethyl parathion in the picomolar range, with a detection limit of 2.40 pM. Real sample analysis demonstrates the reproducibility and robustness of the synthesized nanoprobe, showing specificity towards ethyl parathion compared to other pesticides.

Novel Au-tetrahedral aptamer nanostructure for the electrochemiluminescence detection of acetamiprid

Yemin Guo et al.

Summary: An ultrasensitive and selective electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptasensor with Au-tetrahedral aptamer nanostructure (Au-TAN) was developed for acetamiprid detection. By optimizing the pH of the buffer solution, the concentration of H2O2, and the concentration of Au-TAN, a detection limit lower than other sensors was achieved. The weak alkaline environment explored in the experiment further expanded the application range of the sensor, showing high accuracy and sensitivity.

An on-off' electrochemiluminescence biosensor based on DNA nanotweezer probe coupled with tripod capture DNA for high sensitive detection of Pb2+

Yu Zhao et al.

Summary: A new DNA nanotweezers-Ag nanoparticle probe was designed and used in combination with a tripod-like capture DNA structure to construct an ultrasensitive ON-OFF electrochemiluminescence biosensor for Pb2+ detection. The strategy provides a universal design for ECL biosensors in detecting various metal ions and bioassays.

Enhancement of the peroxidase-like activity of aptamers modified gold nanoclusters by bacteria for colorimetric detection of Salmonella typhimurium

Qingmei Chen et al.

Summary: A colorimetric aptasensor was developed for selective and sensitive detection of Salmonella typhimurium, utilizing dual aptamers modified bovine serum albumin stabilized-gold nanoclusters. The aptasensor showed a wide linear response to S. typhimurium with a low detection limit, and was successfully applied for detection in egg samples.
