In vivo screening and toxicity studies of indolinone incorporated thiosemicarbazone, thiazole and piperidinosulfonyl moieties as anticonvulsant agents

Summary: A series of isatin derivatives containing thiazole moiety were synthesized and evaluated for their anticonvulsant activity in vivo, showing most compounds exhibited relative potency compared to standard drug phenobarbitone. The most active compounds demonstrated good toxic properties on liver and kidney functions with mild changes in hematological parameters, kidney and liver tissues.

Development of adamantane scaffold containing 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives: Design, synthesis, anti-proliferative activity and molecular docking study targeting EGFR

Summary: A new series of thiadiazole-adamantane derivatives were synthesized through molecular hybridization approach and evaluated for their in vitro anti-proliferative activity against cancer cell lines and inhibitory activity against various EGFR mutations. Promising compounds showed potential as apoptotic inducers and exhibited strong inhibitory activity towards EGFR, with good binding energy scores in molecular docking studies. Further investigation into their oral bioavailability and pharmacokinetics properties was also conducted in this research.

Summary: A new series of quinoxaline derivatives showed high activity against liver cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer cells, affecting apoptosis and cell cycle.
