A New Chalcone Derivative C49 Reverses Doxorubicin Resistance in MCF-7/DOX Cells by Inhibiting P-Glycoprotein Expression

Ting Wang et al.

Summary: C49 in combination with DOX restores DOX sensitivity in MCF-7/DOX cells by inhibiting P-gp protein expression. C49 inhibits the growth of MCF-7 and MCF-7/DOX cells and increases cellular accumulation of DOX in MCF-7/DOX cells, leading to inhibition of cell proliferation and promotion of apoptosis. Meanwhile, C49 significantly enhances the anticancer efficacy of DOX in vivo.

pH-Sensitive nanogels for drug delivery in cancer therapy

Zhen Li et al.

Summary: Nanogels are considered ideal drug carriers for cancer treatment due to their high stability, water content, and drug loading capacities. pH-sensitive nanogels, which utilize the lower pH value in tumor tissue, have shown potential for more precise drug delivery and release in cancer treatment.
