Clinical relevance of Alternaria alternata sensitization in patients within type 2-high and type 2-low asthma

Juan Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, 582 patients with Alternaria asthma were retrospectively reviewed and divided into T2-high and T2-low groups based on different endotypes of T2 asthma. Patients in the T2-high group were younger, had higher rates of inhaled corticosteroids usage, higher levels of T-IgE and sIgE, and exhibited a higher frequency of poly-sensitization.
