Gaia Early Data Release 3 The astrometric solution

L. Lindegren et al.

Summary: Gaia EDR3 provides full astrometric data for 1.468 billion sources, including 585 million with five-parameter solutions and 882 million with six parameters, as well as mean positions at J2016.0 for an additional 344 million sources. Five-parameter solutions are generally more accurate and available for 93% of sources brighter than the 17th magnitude, with median uncertainties of 0.02-0.03 mas for parallax and proper motion at G = 9-14, and around 0.5 mas at G = 20. Extensive characterization of the solutions' statistical properties is provided, including the estimated angular power spectrum of parallax bias from quasars.

TOI-257b (HD 19916b): a warm sub-saturn orbiting an evolved F-type star

Brett C. Addison et al.

Summary: TOI-257b is a warm sub-Saturn discovered orbiting a slightly evolved F-type star, with characteristics of a planet mass of 0.138M(J) and a radius of 0.639R-J. Stellar asteroseismology data suggests the presence of a second non-transiting sub-Saturn mass planet in the system.

TOI-269 b: an eccentric sub-Neptune transiting a M2 dwarf revisited with ExTrA

M. Cointepas et al.

Summary: A new sub-Neptune planet TOI-269 close to the transition between super-Earths and sub-Neptunes has been confirmed, with high eccentricity and potential interactions leading to its current orbit. The system, with a few Gyr old star, does not display signs of being dynamically young. Further characterization of TOI-269 b's atmosphere through transmission spectroscopy could provide valuable insights into comparing it to other sub-Neptunes.

Warm Jupiters in TESS Full-frame Images: A Catalog and Observed Eccentricity Distribution for Year 1

Jiayin Dong et al.

Summary: Warm Jupiters, defined as planets larger than 6 Earth radii with orbital periods of 8-200 days, are a key missing piece in our understanding of planetary systems formation and evolution. By utilizing data from the TESS survey, 55 Warm Jupiter candidates were identified, including 19 candidates not originally released by the TESS team. Further ground-based and TESS Extended Mission observations are needed to verify their properties and conduct a full statistical study.
