A parametrized ranking-based semantics compatible with persuasion principles

Summary: This work questions the ability of existing ranking-based semantics to capture persuasion settings, introducing a new parameterized ranking-based semantics based on the notion of propagation to address the phenomena of procatalepsis and fading. The new semantics allows for gradual decrease in the impact of arguments and the possibility to choose whether to satisfy certain properties, providing a more flexible approach than existing ranking-based semantics.
