Multi-shell hollow porous carbon nanoparticles with excellent microwave absorption properties

Summary: In this study, multidimensional ternary OMC/SiO2@Ni composites with hierarchical nanostructure were successfully prepared, and different properties of composites were obtained by adjusting calcination temperature and Ni nanoparticle content. Among them, OMC/SiO2@Ni0.5-700 composite exhibited extremely strong reflection loss with a broad effective absorption bandwidth, which was attributed to the well-designed hierarchical nanostructure and improved impedance matching.
