Thickness-dependent thermoelectric properties of Si1-xGex films formed by Al-induced layer exchange

T. Ozawa et al.

Summary: Al-induced layer exchange method was utilized to produce SiGe layers on a flexible plastic substrate at low temperatures, with the thickening of the layers aimed at improving thermoelectric output power. The Si0.4Ge0.6 layer exhibited a high power factor at room temperature, showing promising practical applications for thin-film thermoelectric generators in the future.
