VO2 Carbon Nanotube Composite Memristor-Based Cellular Neural Network Pattern Formation

Yiran Shen et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a cellular neural network (CNN) based on a VO2 carbon nanotube memristor, demonstrating that cells can only be successfully awakened when at the sharp edge of chaos. By setting initial conditions and observing the formed patterns, the cell power supply can be pre-programmed to obtain specific patterns for future information processing systems based on complex space-time patterns, especially in computer vision applications.
