Permittivity features of multilayer nanoisland systems [FeNi-Al2O3]N

D. D. Noskova et al.

Summary: In this study, we investigate the permittivity of multilayer nanoisland systems with different layer thicknesses using spectral ellipsometry. We observe a significant effect of exchange interaction on the permittivity of structures, with metallic or dielectric behavior depending on the strength of the exchange interaction. The permittivity trends on the FeNi layer thickness are very close for multilayer and single-layer structures when the dielectric layer thickness exceeds 4 nm.
