Computational analysis of an infinite magneto-thermoelastic solid periodically dispersed with varying heat flow based on non-local Moore-Gibson-Thompson approach

Ahmed E. Abouelregal et al.

Summary: In this study, a computational analysis was conducted to investigate a magneto-thermoelastic problem for an isotropic perfectly conducting half-space medium, with a new generalized model formulated combining Green-Naghdi Type III and Lord-Shulman models. The application of Eringen's non-local theory demonstrated the effect of thermoelastic materials on small scale. The system of equations in the Laplace transform domain was solved using a state space method and numerically reversed by Zakian's computational algorithm, with significant influence on field variables of non-local modulus and magnetic field observed.

Photo-Thermoelastic Model with Time-Fractional of Higher Order and Phase Lags for a Semiconductor Rotating Materials

Kadry Zakaria et al.

Summary: A modified generalized fractional photothermoelastic model is constructed in this work based on the fractional calculus technique, extending thermoelastic theories proposed by Lord and Shulman, Tzou, and Ezzat. The model is applied to investigate photothermoelastic interaction in a rotating semiconductor half-space stressed by a magnetic field, and the numerical results show significant influences of the fractional parameter, rotation parameter, and higher-order time-fractional on the physical fields.

Moore-Gibson-Thompson thermoelasticity model with temperature-dependent properties for thermo-viscoelastic orthotropic solid cylinder of infinite length under a temperature pulse

Ahmed E. Abouelregal et al.

Summary: The study introduces a general concept and a thermoviscoelastic heat transfer model, including the MGT equation and based on theories of thermoelasticity and the GN-III model. The behavior of thermal and mechanical waves in an orthotropic cylinder is investigated using the model, with discussions on the influence of temperature pulse, viscoelasticity, and thermal conductivity change. Comparisons are made between different thermoelasticity models derived from the presented model.
