Summary: This study compared trends, demographics, and outcomes of open and endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair in an administrative database and two surgical quality improvement registries. The results showed lower comorbidity rates in the administrative database, but lower in-hospital mortality rates in the quality improvement registries, with discrepancies in morbidity rates between the databases.
