π-Interpenetrated 3D Covalent Organic Frameworks from Distorted Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Marta Martinez-Abadia et al.

Summary: 3D COFs with pcu topology are obtained from distorted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons acting as triangular antiprismatic (D-3d) nodes. These 3D COFs exhibit six-fold interpenetration due to interframework pi-stacking, leading to unexpected charge transport properties.
