Photoluminescence carbon nano dots for the conductivity based optical sensing of dopamine and bioimaging applications

Summary: This study demonstrates the synthesis of carbon nano dots (CNDs) using custard apple peel waste biomass for conductivity-based dopamine sensing and bioimaging applications. The CNDs show biocompatibility, fluorescence, and non-toxicity properties, suggesting their potential use in biomedical applications. Additionally, a novel route for dopamine detection is provided through the CND-Fe complex, showing conductivity-based sensing.
