Rapid, sensitive detection of ganciclovir, penciclovir and valacyclovir-hydrochloride by artificial neural network and partial least squares combined with surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy

Dongguo Li et al.

Summary: The study established quantitative prediction models for ganciclovir, penciclovir, and valacyclovir-hydrochloride using artificial neural network and partial least squares algorithms combined with surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy based on concentrated silver nanoparticles. The models showed rapid and sensitive detection capabilities, with the ANN models outperforming the PLS models in terms of prediction accuracy. The results suggest that the combination of chemometrics and SERS can provide a new reference for the development of rapid and sensitive quantitative analysis methods for analytes.
