Single gold nanocluster probe-based fluorescent sensor array for heavy metal ion discrimination

Xiang-Ping Zhang et al.

Summary: A fluorescent sensor array based on a gold nanocluster probe was developed for the rapid discrimination of heavy metal ions by changing the pH value, successfully identifying seven HMIs with 100% accuracy. This study provides a simple yet powerful sensing platform for multiple HMIs and shows broad application prospects in environmental monitoring.

Facile Construction of Covalent Organic Framework Nanozyme for Colorimetric Detection of Uranium

Li Zhang et al.

Summary: 2D COFs have been recognized as novel photoactive materials with extended pi-electron conjugation and high chemical stabilities. In this study, a new COF (TphBDP) was synthesized using a porphyrin derivative and BODIPY derivative as monomers, showing excellent simulated oxidase activity under 635 nm laser irradiation. The presence of uranium (UO22+) modulated the charge transfer process of colored products, leading to intense aggregation and remarkable color fading.

An array of metallic nanozymes can discriminate and detect a large number of anions

Hoda Sharifi et al.

Summary: The research introduced a colorimetric sensor array using silver and gold nanoparticles as nanozymes for discriminating various anions, utilizing the inhibition or activation of nanozyme catalytic activity by introduced anions to provide different colorimetric responses. Statistical methods such as principal component analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis were employed to analyze the obtained patterns and generate a clustering map for categorizing anions.
