Working from home and income inequality: risks of a 'new normal' with COVID-19

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has made working from home a crucial option for many employees, but it may exacerbate inequalities in the labor market. Male, older, highly educated, and high-paid employees are more likely to benefit from remote work, as well as those living in areas more severely affected by the pandemic.
