Summary: The results of the trials showed that the IPM package was quite effective in reducing Tuta absoluta infestation. Compared to the Farmers' practice of chemical applications, the IPM package performed equally well without compromising the yield. The protection cost of the IPM package was nearly two times lower than that of excessive chemical pesticide spraying in the Farmers' practice.
