Memristive neuron model with an adapting synapse and its hardware experiments

Regulation of firing rhythms in a four-stable memristor-based Hindmarsh-Rose neuron

Impacts of autapse on chaotic resonance in single neurons and small-world neuronal networks

Summary: Chaotic resonance (CR), induced by an intermediate level of chaotic signal intensity in neuronal systems, is significantly increased by autapse regardless of its type. Multiple CR emerges at the optimal chaotic current intensity depending on autaptic time delay, and excitatory autapses prominently increase the prorogation of pacemaker activity in small-world neuronal networks.
