Fabrication of metal mesh flexible transparent electrodes and heaters by a cost-effective method based on ultrafast laser direct writing

Yi-lun Wang et al.

Summary: A new ultrafast laser direct writing process was developed to fabricate completely embedded silver mesh flexible transparent electrodes, which exhibited lower sheet resistance and higher optical transmittance compared to traditional electrodes. These electrodes showed good environmental stability and were used in flexible transparent heaters with stable and consistent heating performance even after bending, twisting, and multiple cycles. The laser direct writing method was proven to be effective in fabricating high-performance metal mesh-based flexible electrodes.
