Improved Doping and Optoelectronic Properties of Zn-Doped Cspbbr3 Perovskite through Mn Codoping Approach

YuJia Guo et al.

Summary: This study investigates the reduction of toxic Pb component in perovskites by doping Zn and Mn, proposing an alternative approach to achieve stable Pb-less perovskites with negligibly deteriorated optoelectronic properties. The results show that Zn dopant can reduce the optical band gap and exciton binding energy of CsPbBr3, while Mn dopant can reduce structural disorder, leading to a potential 50% reduction of toxic Pb with comparable optoelectronic properties.
