Self-Monitoring via Digital Health in Weight Loss Interventions: A Systematic Review Among Adults with Overweight or Obesity

Summary: The systematic review examined the usage of digital self-monitoring in behavioral weight loss interventions among adults with overweight or obesity. Findings showed that digital self-monitoring was commonly done through websites, mobile applications, wearables, electronic scales, and text messaging, with few interventions achieving engagement rates of >= 75% of days.
