Summary: This study examined the latent structure of items on the MAP tool, identified student subgroups, and tested their differences in reading comprehension, vocabulary, and word reading. Results revealed five classes of students, with those in the growth mindset-high effort profile showing the highest scores, while those in the fixed mindset-higher effort profile had the lowest scores.
