Life Came to a Full Stop: The Experiences of Widowed Fathers

Summary: This study examined the impact of mother's death on four Danish families, focusing on the experiences of fathers. The results revealed heavy demands on fathers' time and mental resources as they cope with their own and their children's grief, particularly those with younger children. Implications for practice include the need for individualized bereavement support.
