Climate Risk and Technology Adoption in the Midstream of Crop Value Chains: Evidence from Nigerian Maize Traders

Summary: Climate-induced events impact maize traders in Nigeria in their adoption of value-adding and damage control strategies. The study shows that climate events and risk perceptions also affect the availability and price of maize, but once traders store maize, climate risk does not influence the adoption of damage control strategies.
