Allocation of funding into blast injury-related research and blast traumatic brain injury between 2000 and 2019: analysis of global investments from public and philanthropic funders

J. W. Denny et al.

Summary: This study conducted a detailed analysis of global investments in blast injury-related research from public and philanthropic funders between 2000 and 2019. The findings show that research on blast traumatic brain injury (TBI) has received more funding compared to other blast injury areas. The study also observed an overall increase in investment from 2003 to 2009, followed by a consistent decline in annual funding since 2010.
