A stochastic epidemic model with infectivity in incubation period and homestead-isolation on the susceptible

Dongchen Shangguan et al.

Summary: The study develops a stochastic epidemic model with infectivity rate in the incubation period and homestead-isolation on the susceptible, aiming to reveal the effect of stochastic white noise on long term behavior. The results show that large noise can lead to disease extinction, while small noise is beneficial for disease persistence and stationary distribution. Additionally, sufficient criteria are derived for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution of the model.
