Deep learning based one-shot optically-sectioned structured illumination microscopy for surface measurement

Changchun Chai et al.

Summary: In this paper, a one-shot optically-sectioned method called Deep-OS-SIM is proposed to improve the efficiency of OS-SIM for surface measurement by utilizing a convolutional neural network to learn statistical invariance of optical sectioning across structured illumination images. Experimental results demonstrate that the method achieves faster image speed while maintaining accuracy.

High-definition imaging using line-illumination modulation microscopy

Qiuyuan Zhong et al.

Summary: The development of LiMo technique and HD-fMOST method allows for high-throughput imaging of thick tissues and substantial improvement in neuronal morphology reconstruction. By achieving >30-fold lossless data compression at a voxel resolution of 0.32 x 0.32 x 1.00 mu m(3), real-time high-precision (95% accuracy) brain-wide 3D cell counting is made possible.

De-scattering with Excitation Patterning enables rapid wide-field imaging through scattering media

Cheng Zheng et al.

Summary: Nonlinear optical microscopy allows deep tissue imaging at millimeter scale in vivo, but has limited throughput. The DEEP technique combines patterned excitation and computational imaging to improve image quality in thick scattering samples, enabling reconstruction of high-resolution structural features from multiple DEEP images.
