Nanocomposite Membrane Scaffolds for Cell Function Maintaining for Biomedical Purposes

Monika Drabik et al.

Summary: Nanocomposite multilayered membrane coatings are widely used to enhance biomedical materials surfaces experimentally. The incorporation of metal nanoparticles with unique antimicrobial properties, such as gold and silver, into membrane structures is intriguing for wound dressings. The designed nanocomposite membrane scaffolds were found to support eukaryotic cells' functioning, suggesting their potential recommendation as wound healing materials.
