Summary: Cardiac rehabilitation plays a crucial role in preventing cardiovascular diseases, with training intensity being a key component of the program. A study on coronary artery disease patients after percutaneous coronary intervention found that sufficient training intensity significantly improved cardiopulmonary functions, and the biomarker copeptin showed significant improvement after rehabilitation, correlating with exercise intensity and peak oxygen uptake. This suggests that cardiac rehabilitation may have a novel role in maintaining plasma osmolality and cardiovascular homeostasis.
