Tumor Penetrating Peptide-Functionalized Tenascin-C Antibody for Glioblastoma Targeting

Prakash Lingasamy et al.

Summary: This study investigated the effect of C-terminal genetic fusion of the iROD peptide to recombinant anti-TNC-C single-chain antibody on systemic tumor homing and extravasation. The results showed that iROD fusion enhanced the antibody's binding ability to alpha V beta 3 integrins, and iRGD fusion improved the antibody's targeting, extravasation, and penetration of minor blood vessels and parenchyma in U87-MG mice.
