Multifunctional passivation strategy based on tetraoctylammonium bromide for efficient inverted perovskite solar cells

Jian Xiong et al.

Summary: In this study, tetraoctylammonium bromide (TOAB) was introduced through post-treatment to improve the efficiency and stability of inverted perovskite solar cells. The TOAB molecules successfully enhanced the built-in electrical field, hydrophobic properties, and light-harvesting efficiency of the devices. As a result, the champion power conversion efficiency (PCE) reached 21.47% and the device stability was greatly improved, demonstrating the potential of TOAB as a novel passivation strategy for PSCs.
