Ideal type-II Weyl points in topological circuits

Summary: In this study, a topological circuit with only four ideal type-II Weyl points was experimentally realized by stacking layers of inductor-capacitor resonators with broken parity inversion symmetry. This system provides an ideal platform for further research on Weyl physics and other exotic topological phenomena, due to its unique spectral characteristics and topological surface states.

Topolectric circuits: Theory and construction

Summary: A general theory for engineering arbitrary Hermitian tight-binding lattice models in electrical LC circuits is proposed, where lattice sites are replaced by electrical nodes connected with capacitors and inductors. By supplementing each node with subnodes and implementing shift capacitor coupling, arbitrary hopping amplitudes between sites can be achieved. This principle is utilized to construct topological models in electrical circuits known as topolectric circuits, which exhibit robust zero-energy boundary modes at resonance frequency.
