Catabolic enzyme activities during biodegradation of three-ring PAHs by novel DTU-1Y and DTU-7P strains isolated from petroleum-contaminated soil

Sakshi et al.

Summary: The study isolated bacterial strains capable of degrading PAHs from contaminated soil for the first time, including two new strains. These strains exhibited different efficiencies in degrading various PAHs at different concentrations, and their mixed culture did not show synergistic or antagonistic effects on degradation.
