Significance of nonlinear thermal radiation in 3D Eyring-Powell nanofluid flow with Arrhenius activation energy

Taseer Muhammad et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a mathematical analysis of three-dimensional Eyring-Powell nanofluid nonlinear thermal radiation with modified heat plus mass fluxes. The slip condition is introduced to enhance the dynamical and physical study of structure, and a Riga plate is employed to diminish the friction and pressure drag of submarines. The Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model is used to evaluate heat transfer, and comparisons between bvp4c results and shooting technique are made with graphical and numerical illustrations for prominent parameters.

Study of Arrhenius activation energy on the thermo-bioconvection nanofluid flow over a Riga plate

M. M. Bhatti et al.

Summary: This article investigates the effects of Arrhenius activation energy and viscous dissipation on thermo-bioconvection nanofluid propagating through a Riga plate. Through numerical analysis, it is found that the magnetic field and bioconvection parameters weaken the velocity profile, while an increase in activation energy enhances the concentration profile. However, an increase in the Prandtl number suppresses the temperature profile changes.

Thermal radiation and surface roughness effects on the thermo-magneto-hydrodynamic stability of alumina-copper oxide hybrid nanofluids utilizing the generalized Buongiorno's nanofluid model

Abderrahim Wakif et al.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of thermal radiation and surface roughness on the dynamics of water conveying alumina and copper oxide nanoparticles. It found that increasing Lorentz forces, thermal radiation, and surface roughness enhanced the appearance of convection cells, while stability decreased with higher volumetric fraction and diameter of nanomaterials. Substituting alumina nanoparticles with copper oxide nanoparticles significantly stabilized the hybrid nanofluidic medium.

Models base study of inclined MHD of hybrid nanofluid flow over nonlinear stretching cylinder

Nadeem Abbas et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the stagnation point flow of hybrid nanofluid with inclined magnetic field over a moving cylinder, using mathematical models and boundary layer approximations to convert systems of partial differential equations to dimensionless systems of ordinary differential equations for numerical solutions. The effects of physical parameters variation are depicted through graphs, and skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number are highlighted through tables. The main objective is to investigate the heat transfer rate on the surface of the nonlinear stretching cylinder, comparing the results of Xue model and Yamada-Ota model for the hybrid nanofluid. In both cases, velocity and temperature profiles are best compared to the decay results.

Assessment of bioconvection in magnetized Sutterby nanofluid configured by a rotating disk: A numerical approach

M. Ijaz Khan et al.

Summary: This study focuses on exploring the thermal properties of Sutterby nanofluid in bioconvection flow over rotating and stretchable disks. By observing the effects of various physical parameters, enhancements in velocity, temperature, concentration, and motile microorganism are noted. It is observed that axial and tangential velocity components decrease with Reynolds number and buoyancy ratio parameter, while nanofluid concentration improves with activation energy and concentration Biot number.
