Imitation Dynamics in Population Games on Community Networks

Giacomo Como et al.

Summary: This article investigates the asymptotic behavior of deterministic, continuous-time imitation dynamics for population games over networks, characterizing equilibrium points and proving global convergence. Results show that under specific conditions, convergence to a Nash equilibrium is possible from every fully supported initial state.

Heterogeneous Mixed Populations of Best-Responders and Imitators: Equilibrium Convergence and Stability

Hien Le et al.

Summary: In anti-coordination social contexts, individuals who are best responders tend to reach an equilibrium state, while imitators are more likely to experience perpetual fluctuations. Real-world populations often consist of a mixture of best responders and imitators, and research suggests that the population almost surely reaches an equilibrium if it is capable of admitting one.
