B7-H3: An Attractive Target for Antibody-based Immunotherapy

Filippos Kontos et al.

Summary: B7-H3, as a potential target for antibody-based immunotherapy, is overexpressed in malignant tissues and associated with poor prognosis. Although the receptor for B7-H3 remains unknown, various antibody-based strategies targeting B7-H3-expressing cancer cells have been developed, demonstrating potent antitumor activity in preclinical models. Ongoing clinical trials are evaluating the safety and efficacy of these strategies in patients, with the hope of enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of tumor immunity.

Large remodeling of the Myc-induced cell surface proteome in B cells and prostate cells creates new opportunities for immunotherapy

Wentao Chen et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that MYC overexpression leads to significant remodeling of the cell surface proteome, causing dramatic changes in surface proteins in different cell types, including both up-regulation and down-regulation. These changes impact the sensitivity of cells to toxic nucleoside analogs and increase the expression of proteins driving cell turnover and immune cell attacking signals.

Surface Proteomics Reveals CD72 as a Target for In Vitro-Evolved Nanobody-Based CAR-T Cells in KMT2A/MLL1-Rearranged B-ALL

Matthew A. Nix et al.

Summary: CD72 is identified as a potential target for MLLr B-ALL and other B-cell malignancies, and nanobody CAR-T cells have been developed to target CD72 with promising efficacy, providing a new strategy for patients with poor prognoses in B-cell malignancy relapsing after CD19-targeted immunotherapy.
