Feasibility, tolerability, and safety of hysterosalpingo-foam sonography (hyfosy). multicenter, prospective Spanish study

V Engels et al.

Summary: This study conducted ultrasound assessment of tubal patency using foam as contrast in 915 infertile nulliparous women, proving HYFOSY to be a feasible, well-tolerated, and safe technique. Pain during the procedure was unrelated to tubal patency or blockage, making it suitable for evaluation of tubal patency.
