Application of nano-titanum dioxide coating on fresh Highbush blueberries shelf life stored under ambient temperature

Investigating the Nano-Films Effect on Physical, Mechanical Properties, Chemical Changes, and Microbial Load Contamination of White Button Mushrooms during Storage

Summary: The study found that Chitosan/nano-silica and Chitosan/nano-titanium have positive impacts on preserving white button mushrooms by reducing weight loss and improving overall color parameters, as well as enhancing headspace gas compositions and firmness. Chitosan/nano-silica samples showed the lowest electrolyte leakage value and Chitosan/nano-titanium treatment displayed the lowest cap opening value, PPO activity, and microbial load contamination, indicating that nano-films are a promising method for extending the shelf-life of white button mushrooms.

The combined effect of coating treatments to nisin, nano-silica, and chitosan on oxidation processes of stored button mushrooms at 4 degrees C
