Theoretical computation of the electrocatalytic performance of CO2 reduction and hydrogen evolution reactions on graphdiyne monolayer supported precise number of copper atoms

Zhen Feng et al.

Summary: The study systematically modeled different Cu-embedded graphdiyne complexes and found that they exhibit different catalytic performance in CO2 reduction and hydrogen evolution reactions. Cu-2@GDY efficiently converts CO2 to CH4, while Cu-1@CDY and CuAGDY show excellent performance in hydrogen evolution reactions.

Adsorption of CO, H2S and CH4 molecules on SnS2 monolayer: a first-principles study

Long Lin et al.

Summary: This study investigated the adsorptive properties of SnS2 monolayer and SnS2 monolayer with S-vacancy for CO, H2S and CH4 molecules using first-principles method. Results indicate that the SnS2 monolayer with S-vacancy is more sensitive to these gases, particularly showing strong adsorption energy for H2S. This provides a new design idea for gas sensors based on SnS2.
