A Critical Review of Methods for Quantitative Evaluation of Root Canal Transportation

Ales Fidler et al.

Summary: This review compared and discussed transportation evaluation methods in root canal studies, revealing similarities and correlations between different methods. The canal center point distance was identified as the most suitable method for describing canal transportation.

Endodontic length measurements using cone beam computed tomography with dedicated or conventional software at different voxel sizes

Khoa Van Pham

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the accuracies and agreements of different methods in endodontic length measurements. The ProPex Pixi measurements showed the highest accuracy within +/- 0.5 mm, and there was agreement between 3D Endo and Romexis Viewer measurements. Conventional CBCT measurements using Romexis Viewer did not reach 100% accuracy within the defined range.

Endodontic length measurements using 3D Endo, cone-beam computed tomography, and electronic apex locator

Khoa Van Pham

Summary: The study found that the accuracy within +/- 0.5 mm of the EAL ProPex II was highest among the experimental modalities, but this method disagreed with the actual length. The correct working length after adjustment by the 3D Endo software and Romexis Viewer measurements agreed with the AL.

Evaluation of Reparative Dentine Bridge Formation after Direct Pulp Capping with Biodentine

Anh Huynh Bui et al.

Summary: The study evaluated the capability of Biodentine for direct pulp capping in permanent teeth, finding that all experimental teeth showed reparative dentin bridge formation. The conclusion suggests that Biodentine can induce the formation of reparative dentin in direct pulp capping.
