Influence of waste alumina powder on self-compacting concrete resistance under elevated temperature

Seyed Esmaeil Mohammadyan-Yasouj et al.

Summary: The study explores the impact of Nano-Alumina powder from damaged alumina rollers on Self-Compacting Concrete at elevated temperatures and finds that it can enhance the compressive strength of the concrete and slow down strength degradation. Specifically, the Nano-Alumina is more effective in reducing SCC strength degradation at higher temperatures, with a higher percentage of 2%NA showing greater influence compared to 1%NA.
