Depolarization electric field and poling voltage-modulated Pb,La(Zr,Ti)O3-based self-powered ultraviolet photodetectors

Ying Zhang et al.

Summary: Traditional self-powered ultraviolet photodetectors have low responsivity and specific detectivity due to ineffective separation of photogenerated electrons and holes, while ferroelectrics with large remnant polarization offer effective separation. By preparing Pb0.93La0.07(Zr1-xTix)(0.9825)O-3 (PLZT) ferroelectric thin films with large remnant polarization, the self-powered ultraviolet photodetectors achieved superior photoelectric response performance, surpassing those of recently reported devices.

Band Alignment Engineering in Two-Dimensional Transition Metal Dichalcogenide-Based Heterostructures for Photodetectors

Ran Liu et al.

Summary: The hybridization of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D TMDs) with other light-sensitive materials is an effective way to enhance the overall photoelectric performance of photodetectors. Band structure alignment at the interface of binding materials plays a crucial role in optimizing carrier transfer path and promoting charge separation rate. However, detailed summaries and reviews of band alignment engineering topics are still lacking.
