Summary: An integrated process was suggested to increase the yield of incomplete degradation products of GalM by employing Trichoderma reesei to produce beta-mannanase and alpha-galactosidase independently. The addition of alpha-galactosidase helped remove galactose substituents from GalM, facilitating the hydrolysis by beta-mannanase.
