Catalytic ozonation of VOCs at low temperature: A comprehensive review

Summary: VOCs abatement has attracted increasing interest due to their detrimental effects on the environment and human health. Catalytic ozonation with the assistance of ozone is considered as a feasible and effective method for VOCs elimination. This review systematically reviews the emerging advances of catalytic ozonation of different VOCs and discusses the reaction mechanisms and influencing factors.

Effect of zeolite acidity and structure on ozone oxidation of toluene using Ru-Mn loaded zeolites at ambient temperature

Summary: Five different Ru-Mn/zeolites were studied for removing toluene with ozone at room temperature, with Ru-Mn/HY and Ru-Mn/ZSM-5 showing higher efficiencies. The catalytic activity of Ru-Mn catalysts was influenced by the characteristics of zeolites such as acidity and adsorption degree.
