Preparation and investigation of a Ni-B-assisted SnO2-Sb anode for electrooxidation of phenol

Laiyuan Zeng et al.

Summary: A Sb-doped SnO2 anode modified with Ni and B was prepared by the sol-gel method, and the effect of different operation parameters on the mineralization degree of phenol was investigated. The optimized preparation ratio and calcination temperature were found to be 650:200:100:6.5:0.5:2 and 550°C, respectively. The SnO2-Sb-Ni-B anode showed a high oxygen evolution potential of 1.63 V and achieved a 58% phenol removal rate.
