A Hierarchical Minimum Hitting Set Calculation Method for Multiple Multiphase Faults in Power Distribution Networks

Qiujie Wang et al.

Summary: Model-based diagnosis (MBD) is an important fault diagnosis method for power distribution network faults, with the minimum hitting set (MHS) calculation playing a crucial role in MBD performance. A hierarchical MHS calculation method is proposed to address the limitations of efficiency and accuracy in MHS calculation when dealing with multiple multiphase faults, improving the versatility and search process through enhanced fitness functions and MHS criteria. The advantages of the method are verified using a 14-node distribution network example, showcasing improvements in calculation efficiency and accuracy under multiple multiphase faults.
