Effects of Nitrogen and Intercropping on the Occurrence of Wheat Powdery Mildew and Stripe Rust and the Relationship With Crop Yield

Summary: The study found that under different nitrogen levels, the incidence and disease index of wheat powdery mildew and stripe rust increased, with the disease index being more affected by nitrogen levels. Intercropping wheat/faba beans can reduce the incidence and disease index of both diseases compared to monocropping, while also increasing the relative control effect and positively impacting wheat yield.
